I was not talking about winning percentage...

After all, VT has won around 70% of ACC games and will (hopefully) be returning to that level of play very soon.

And if you are going to puff out your chest, then please tell the whole story. ND is 7-3 in 10 games, but it's not like you are owning the ACC...

* Close games:
@ FSU (13-1) loss by 4
Louisville (9-4) loss by 3
@ Clemson (14-1) loss by 2
BC (3-9) win by 3
UNC (6-7) win by 7
@ Virginia (4-8) win by 7
Georgia Tech (3-9) win by 8

* Wins More than 10 points:
@ Pitt (8-5) win by 12
Syracuse (3-9) win by 16
Wake Forest (3-9) win by 21

Seven of the ten games have been one score games. Yes, ND has performed well against the top 2 teams in losses (FSU and Clemson). Louisville in 2014 was not "the best of ACC"... too bad you miss them this year! ND also struggled to beat the worst of the ACC (GT, BC, Virginia). Those three teams, plus Wake, were the worst teams in the ACC last year. You can spin it both ways.

I expect ND will win more ACC games than it loses. If they didn't, it would mean ND is no better than an average ACC team... and I don't think anyone is claiming that. I do think the results so far point to ND being a solid team, capable of playing the good teams tough, but not good enough to win the conference.

Now that we have establish the early results, my original point was to say the current relationship benefits the ACC as well as ND. It benefits the ACC to have all of these games every year which showcase ACC teams on a national stage. And 70% of the time so far... the ACC teams have shown very well, including 2 "instant classics" and 1 "trademark ND miracle".
